Easy and quick installation
7 dB gain
The antenna has a 5ft cable with SMA-Male which will connect directly to your wireless scouting cameras. This antenna would connect directly to the camera’s SMA female connector without the need for any other adapter. This antenna has several significant improvements over the stock or enhanced antennas. This antenna is a remote mount with a cable attachment. This allows for significant flexibility in where the antenna is placed. No longer is the antenna directly on top of the camera, now it can be placed away from potential signal interference or signal blocking objects. Be careful though, cabling is both friend and foe as it causes signal loss over its length. In this case the cabling type is RG174 cable which has around .27 dB signal loss per foot. Since there is almost 5 ft of cable the approximate signal loss due to cabling is 1.35 dB. On the plus side the antenna generates over 5 dB of signal improvement. This takes the total improvement to almost 5 dB.
With the help from this enhanced antenna, your camera will find the wireless network quicker and save power in the sending process which will extend the battery life of the camera.
